Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea)

Golden Alexander (Zizia aurea) blooms in spring with bright yellow flowers. This neat and compact native plant is a great addition to your garden or landscaping. Tolerates a variety of soil types and will grow in full sun to partial shade, to about 2 ft tall. Attracting many different pollinators while blooming, golden alexander is also the host plant for the black swallowtail butterfly.
