Blue Wood Aster (Symphotrichum cordifolium)

Also known as Heart Leaved Aster, this plant offers a lovely display of dainty blue and light purple flowers every fall. Growing to be around 2 feet in height, blue wood aster prefers partial sun to full shade and tolerates a variety of soil types. Attracts a variety of pollinators and makes an excellent cut flower.
