Black-eyed Susan (Rudbeckia hirta)
A bright and cheery Kentucky native plant. It is easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun to part shade. Best in moist, organically rich soils. Tolerates heat, drought and a wide range of soils except poorly-drained wet ones.
This plant is sold as a division from our garden. It may look wilted at first from transplant shock but will perk up once planted and watered in the ground. Do not allow the roots to dry out before planting.
